L’énergie d’André Ceccarelli, batteur de génie, arrive au Club ! Tout a commencé en 1997, quand ce virtuose a marqué l’histoire avec un raz-de-marée musical. Mais l’étincelle remonte bien plus loin : adolescent, il découvre West Side Story au cinéma. L’esthétique, la passion et surtout la bande-son mythique du film, ne le quitteront plus. Des décennies plus tard, cette fascination donne naissance à un chef-d’œuvre : son interprétation magistrale de West Side Story, où swing terrassant et vélocité époustouflante se rencontrent. Aujourd’hui, il revient avec une version live au Baiser Salé, enregistrée lors de précédents concerts au Club. West Side Story est bien plus qu’un album : c’est une ode à la passion.
Avec une carrière internationale qui l’a mené des scènes américaines aux côtés de Chick Corea (1979) aux tournées avec Dee Dee Bridgewater (1987), en passant par son TRIO SUD avec Sylvain Luc et Jean-Marc Jafet, André Ceccarelli a enregistré plus de 1000 disques ! Des collaborations avec Stan Getz, Charles Aznavour, Claude Nougaro, Brad Mehldau, Tina Turner… et tant d’autres. 
Pour ce projet exceptionnel, le batteur s’entoure de talents d’exception : le virtuose Rosario Giuliani au saxophone alto, le pianiste Julian Oliver Mazzariello à la technique impeccable, Walter Ricci avec sa voix puissante et émouvante, et François Constantin percussionniste maître des rythmes. 
Ce concert est une occasion unique de vivre en direct l’énergie et l’émotion de ce projet culte. À ne manquer sous aucun prétexte !

Now he's back with a live version at Baiser Salé, recorded during previous concerts at the Club. West Side Story is much more than an album: it's an ode to passion.
With an international career that has taken him from American stages alongside Chick Corea (1979) to tours with Dee Dee Bridgewater (1987), via his TRIO SUD with Sylvain Luc and Jean-Marc Jafet, André Ceccarelli has recorded over 1000 albums!
