About
The National Association of Wine and Vine Politicians (ANEV) will hold its annual conference in Toulouse, in partnership with the City of Toulouse and the Interprofessional Council of Wines of the South-West, with the participation of AEGEE-Toulouse for the section dedicated to wine tourism.
 
This conference will bring together public representatives, experts, and professionals from across France and Europe around the theme:
“Wine tourism: from preservation to valorization, a lever to unite wine-growing territories.”
 
It will be a day of exchanges and discussions on how wine can serve as a bridge between culture, economy, and regional development.
 
Programme
 
09:30 – Welcome coffee
Arrival of participants and registration.
 
10:00 – Opening speeches
Jean-François Portarrieu, Member of Parliament and President of ANEV
Jean-Jacques Bolzan, Deputy Mayor of Toulouse, ANEV Administrator
Christophe Bou, Co-president of the Interprofessional Council of Wines of the South-West
 
10:10 – Keynote speech and integration of ANEV into the European Network of Wine Cities
Presented by Rosa Melchor, President of the network.
 
10:20 – Opening remarks
Nathalie Delattre, Minister Delegate for Tourism.
 
10:30 – Round Table 1: From vineyards to institutions, wine tourism in action
A discussion on the state and perspectives of wine tourism in France, with:
Ludovic Walbaum (Head of the Wine and Gastronomy Tourism Division at France’s national tourism agency),
Coralie Haller (Professor at the University of Strasbourg and head of the Chair “Wine and Tourism”),
Nathalie Kaltenbach (President of the national association “Wine Routes of France” and Mayor of Barr),
and Philippe Massol (Director of the Wine City of Bordeaux).
 
12:15 – Lunch break
Friendly lunch at Hôtel Mercure Saint-Georges.
 
14:30 – Round Table 2: UNESCO as a tool for preservation and attraction
With Bernard Fialaire (Senator of Rhône), Jonathan Rodrigues (Departmental Councillor of Marne),
Vanessa Ferrey (Director of the Cognac Craftsmanship Association),
and Charlotte Fougère (Vice-President of the Association of the Burgundy Climats).
 
16:00 – Round Table 3: Beyond French borders – the European vision of wine tourism
With Emanuela Panke (President of the European Wine Routes network),
Natalia Turcanu (President of the Wine Routes of Moldova),
and Bernardo Marquez (Director of World of Wine, Portugal).
 
17:30 – Closing remarks
Christian Klinger, Senator of Haut-Rhin, President of ANEV.
 
19:00 – Official reception at the Salle des Illustres (Capitole)
In the presence of Jean-Luc Moudenc, Mayor of Toulouse and President of Toulouse Métropole.

Aperitif and ceremony for the appointment of new ambassadors of the French wine regions.
 
Participation Details
 
International students are invited to join from 2:30 PM for the afternoon sessions, which will be held in both English and French.

As places for the evening reception at the Salle des Illustres are limited, participants wishing to attend it should also plan to take part in the discussions from around 4:00 PM.
 
Students interested in joining the morning sessions are also welcome to contact us directly, if additional seats become available, we will be happy to allocate them.
