This workshop introduces you to the essential techniques behind layer cake assembly and decoration — the perfect foundation whether you're a complete beginner or already curious about pastry.

This cooking class will be given in English by Malachy.
Malachy is the owner of Chez Malachy, an all-vegan micro-bakery based in Brussels. After years working in busy professional kitchens — from prep cook, to chef de partie, to pâtissier — he launched his own business creating custom vegan cakes in 2020. His mission: plant-based desserts that don't "taste vegan," because everyone deserves to enjoy cake without compromise on taste, texture, or compassion. And since we eat with our eyes first, he takes real pleasure in making his creations almost too beautiful to eat.
A small booklet with the recipes made during the class will be sent to each participant by email after the session.
Aprons, knives, and other utensils will be provided during the class.
Please note: the class may be cancelled if the minimum of 6 participants is not reached.
Cancellation or rescheduling policy :
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class are non-refundable. However, the class may be rescheduled if the participant requests it by email or edits a credit note at least 72 hours before the class date.
