Dans ce Moulin situé au bord du Grand Morin, à une demie-heure à l’est de Paris, de nombreux artistes et artisans, jardiniers et cuisiniers, créent in situ.
Ici, le processus de recherche et d’expérimentation qui mêle nature, création et vie quotidienne est permanent. Il fait émerger un monde à la fois réel et merveilleux, savant mélange d’art brut, de science fiction et de cirque fellinien. En y participant, qu’on soit créateur ou visiteur, on apprend à être créateur de sa vie, à transformer l’ordinaire en quelque chose d’inédit et de fantastique qui renoue avec des rêves d’enfants et d’évasion.
ON ASSOCIE NATURE, ART ET VIE QUOTIDIENNE
Au Moulin Jaune, laboratoire de création en perpétuelle ébullition, nous avons environ 630 œuvres d’art de différentes formes, styles, époques et pays. Dans tous les coins du jardin, toujours en symbiose avec la nature, vous rencontrerez aussi bien de l’art contemporain que traditionnel.

Moulin Jaune is a laboratory: a place saturated with creativity, eternally changing, each moment full with yearning for creativity. Here, no project is ever truly over and no experiment can be deemed a failure.
His owner and artistic director, Slava Polunin, is a clown, president of the International Academy of Fools, official Ambassador of H.C.Andersen, and creator of 30-year touring Slava’s Snowshow. At the Moulin Jaune, Slava invites multi-disciplinary artists and artisans to create an adventure where nature, creativity and everyday life are weaved together into joyful festive and wonderful living.
WEAVING TOGETHER NATURE, CREATIVITY AND EVERYDAY LIFE
The house, the garden and every single day at this ancient watermill are filled with theatrical happenings and celebration of spectacle and imagination. In the colourful gardens around the Mill one will find enchanting fairy tales, felliniesque circus and outsider art.
Once a year — and this year on 19 and 20 September — a brand-new theme is chosen. Many artists and craftspeople are invited to explore it and to welcome the public to take part in this major festival. The event’s theme and dress code will be announced around six months before the event.

The garden is open from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

A dedicated ticket quota ensures guaranteed access.

We do not check family relationships — a family is whoever you consider to be your family.
