Need a break from Toulouse?

 

Come spend a summer day by the sea with AEGEE Toulouse at Gruissan Plage, a relaxed Mediterranean destination and a great escape for international students and PhD students staying in Toulouse. If you are looking for sun, sea air, and a social day out with other students, this is a lovely opportunity to enjoy the coast together.

 

At AEGEE Toulouse, our trips are designed in a flexible and social way. We want everyone to enjoy the day at their own rhythm, whether that means swimming, sunbathing, walking along the beach, or simply relaxing and chatting with others. With help from our side, students have to coordinate the trip by them selfs.

 

This trip is planned by public transport, with a TER from Toulouse to Narbonne, then a bus connection, and finally a walk from the last public transport stop to the beach. Since there aren't a lot of busses going from Narbonne to Gruissan Plage, please coordinate in taking a carsharing option to have at least half a day at the beach. 

 

Please also keep in mind that beach days like this involve quite a lot of travel compared with the actual time at the beach, so it is best to join with that expectation and enjoy it as a full-day outing.

 

Bring everything you need for a beach day: water, sunscreen, swimwear, a towel, snacks or lunch, and anything that will make the trip comfortable for you. All listed costs are estimates based on prices at the time of planning and may vary.

 

After registration, you will receive a full handsheet helping you coordinate the trip with your fellow participants. This is a nice chance to enjoy a seaside escape, discover a different part of the region, and share a summer day with the AEGEE Toulouse community.

 

Please note that over the summer we have fewer volunteers available, so while we will provide a practical info sheet with the key details you need, bookings and the organisation of the outing remain the responsibility of each participant.

 

Cancellations: Each ticket is personal and cannot be transferred. The only way to cancel your ticket is through the link in your confirmation email.

 

For free events, we have a strict no-show policy: if you register and do not attend without canceling at least six hours in advance, you will be unable to join association events for two weeks. We do this to keep things fair for the whole community, so everyone gets a chance to participate. Thanks for understanding.
