Bettina Martinez, jeune pianiste de la scène jazz parisienne, s’impose déjà comme une figure prometteuse du piano. À seulement 19 ans, son talent a été salué par son intégration à l’Orchestre National de Jazz des Jeunes, une consécration qui témoigne de sa maturité artistique et de sa créativité.
Pour ce concert, elle s’entoure de deux brillants complices : Julien Rech à la contrebasse et Jonas Charles à la batterie. Ensemble, ils forment un trio de la nouvelle génération jazz, où précision, harmonie et improvisation se rencontrent.
Leur répertoire personnel et exigeant, mêle compositions originales et revisites de standards, portées par une esthétique contemporaine. Lauréat du concours international Léopold Bellan en 2025, le trio puise son inspiration dans l’héritage de Chick Corea ou Tigran Hamasyan, tout en affirmant une identité propre, entre recherche sonore et respect de la tradition.

Bettina Martinez, a young pianist on the Paris jazz scene, is already establishing herself as a promising figure on the piano. At just 19, her talent has been recognised by her inclusion in the Orchestre National de Jazz des Jeunes, an accolade that testifies to her artistic maturity and creativity.
For this concert, she is joined by two brilliant accomplices: Julien Rech on double bass and Jonas Charles on drums. Together they form a trio of the new jazz generation, where precision, harmony and improvisation meet.
Their personal and demanding repertoire combines original compositions and revisits of standards, with a contemporary aesthetic. Winners of the Léopold Bellan international competition in 2025, the trio draws its inspiration from the legacy of Chick Corea and Tigran Hamasyan, while asserting its own identity, a blend of sound research and respect for tradition.
