Ready to step back in time and explore a medieval masterpiece? Join us for a day trip to Carcassonne, one of the most iconic fortified cities in France, with its stunning walls, towers, and cobbled streets, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

At AEGEE Toulouse, our trips are designed a bit differently. We invite you to take an active role in shaping your own experience, building your day around what you enjoy most, while also developing your planning skills. We'll share tips on the must-see attractions and suggest a social program you're free to join or not, any activities or visits are at your own expense, and one or more AEGEE volunteers will support the group.

To confirm your registration and get access to the WhatsApp group and travel guide, you'll need to purchase your train ticket and upload it through the registration form. Listed costs are estimates and may vary. This is the first weekend of the month, so thanks to the Occitanie region's promotion, the train is just €1 each way. Remember to mention your age at booking to get an extra -50% if you're under 27.

Suggested program: 10:14 departure by train from Matabiau, 11:16 arrival and walk up to the medieval city, 12:00 free lunch or picnic in the gardens, 13:30 stroll through the medieval cité (free), 15:00 visit to Saint-Nazaire Basilica (free), 15:30 free time, 16:45 return to the station, 17:36 train back, 18:35 arrival in Toulouse.

Our events are reserved for association members. Membership is free and open to anyone who shares our values, DM us on Instagram to get the form link.

Tickets are personal and non-transferable. Cancel only via the link in your confirmation email. For free events, no-shows without cancellation (at least 6h notice) will be blocked from future events for two weeks.
