Looking for a relaxed day out with an international group? Join our social day-trip to the medieval city of Carcassonne.
This is not a classic guided tour, but a casual adventure shared with other young people, coordinated by an AEGEE Toulouse volunteer. Enjoy a flexible social program in good company.
Social Program Highlights (all optional):
Morning – Travel & Meet-up
Train travel together from Toulouse (booking included in your activity fee).
Arrival in Carcassonne around noon.
Picnic & Discovery
Optional group lunch at a local restaurant (or bring your own picnic).
Explore the medieval city: historic streets, local shops, and cafés.
Afternoon – Visiting Carcassonne
Optional visit to Château Comtal (free entry for Europeans under 25) and medieval ramparts (ticket optional, not included).
Free time for relaxation, photography, or exploring the city with the group.
Late Afternoon – Leisure & Return
Optional group time for ice cream or refreshments in the old town.
Return journey to Toulouse by train.
Participants are welcome to join any part of the program according to their preference.
