A new episode in the ongoing dialogue between sound and visual forms by Casimir Liberski and Jean-Luc Moerman will take place in our beautiful barn. As always, this will be a one-time-only performance.
Jean-Luc Moerman creates the “image,” and Casimir Liberski the “music.” Which one follows the other? They accompany each other.
Something unfolds in a moment where a truth emerges, that of a passage between seeing and hearing. We see the music, we hear the drawing. A living, interactive double creation, something especially precious today.
Jean-Luc Moerman continues the tradition of Street Art, a field he has been part of since the very beginning of his career. Casimir Liberski responds through a play of piano and sampled piano, sampling itself belonging, as we know, to the same artistic lineage.
Moerman’s gesture is made of waves and ripples, unfolding, repeating, diverging, a sampling of vibrations that Casimir Liberski makes resonate, giving this dual creation a sense of contemplation and an emotion of absolutely singular intensity.
Not to be missed.
