On December 9, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (CET), the Cellulose Valley Chair invites you to join us online for the 5th edition of Cellience, its international webinar dedicated to the latest scientific advances in cellulose-based materials and sustainable packaging.
Free and open to all, this annual event brings together researchers, industry professionals, and stakeholders committed to the transition toward bio-based, recyclable, and biodegradable materials.

This year’s edition will focus on three themes central to the challenges of tomorrow’s packaging:
• Alternative fibres & circularity - Exploring new fibre resources, recycling and sustainable alternatives to conventional raw materials.
• Next-generation barrier solutions - Developing innovative coatings and materials to improve the barrier performance of fibre-based packaging.
• Artificial intelligence & machine learning - Harnessing AI to predict, design and optimize cellulosic materials and manufacturing processes.
