Hôtel Drouot will host the international conference ‘Catalogues Raisonnés: Past, Present, Future’ on Friday, 24 October, from 10am to 5pm. Organised at the initiative of Alexandre Giquello, President of the Drouot Group, in partnership with the International Catalogue Raisonné Society (CRIS), led by its newly appointed President, Ekaterina Bembel, the conference will bring together leading experts from around the world.
Journalist Harry Bellet (Le Monde) will chair the first three panels, with Ekaterina Bembel moderating the legal discussion. Seventeen French and international specialists will explore the methodological, legal, and forward-looking aspects of catalogues raisonnés, sharing insights, best practices, and experiences with authors and professionals involved in art authentication.
