______________
"Drawing From Where We Are – An Exhibition of Recent Graduates from Belgian Art Schools" is a biennial group exhibition dedicated to emerging Belgian artistic practices and contemporary forms of drawing. It brings together nineteen recently graduated artists from twelve art schools, selected from across Belgium. Conceived in resonance with the Art on Paper art fair (2–4 October 2026), DFWWA highlights artists whose practices deliberately cross disciplinary boundaries. They approach drawing not only as a mode of representation, but also as a tool for observing and analysing the present.
Participating artists: Chiara Bambusa, Amber Croonen, Zhiyu Luke Cong, Lucas de la Rubia, Ann De Nys, Justine Douard, Alice Erlos, Benjamin Estermann, Anahita Judaki, Khorshyd Khajouei, Gouki, Szewing Law, Zazie Maroy, Emilie Masson, Hanne Schelkens, Milla Slangen, Cyane Theron, Penelope Urbain, Trui Van Landuyt and Agata Wala.
Curators: Marion Adrian and Sungyoon Ahn
With the generous support of Vlaamse Overheid, Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, Art on Paper, Gilbard ASBL and LaVallée.
Graphic design: Geoffrey Bourgeois
