We provide you the rope for the workshop and you bring them back home at the end of the workshop. 

In order to enjoy the workshop as much as possible, the amount of tickets will be limited to 8 spots. 
 

  Atelier Simonet, official Naka ryu studio in France, is located near subway station Mairie d'Aubervilliers (4minutes) Ligne12.

You should be 18+ to participate to this event and come by pair. 

 Topic :
History of modern kinbaku started with Itoh Seiu's work. 
During that day, we will explore a completetly different approach to kinbaku using some Rice straw ropes in order to create harmonious shapes. 

Because of the rope characteristics we wil explore a more unstructured aesthetic and play with the very unique feelings created by the rope and the way it is used. 

Part of the workshop will be base on considering the rope bottom feeling, and to learn how  to enjoy those new sensations as much as possible. 

It will be a very nice opportunity for both riggers and bunnys, to bring a new point of view on floorwork practice, considering heritage and fantasy in Japanese rope bondage. 

Unlike the image It visualy has, rice straw rope is not rough as coconut rope for exemple. 

We will also spend so time on how to prepare our ropes before tying. 
 

 Pre-requisites :
You must be able to tie the basics of kinbaku and know safety for floorwork.

The way rice straw rope is used can make them bleed on your cloth so please take clothes that are not expensive. We also recommend that rope bottoms bring a change of clothes for inbetween the exercices.

I started to perform and teach shibari in France and internationally in 2012. The psychological aspect of kinbaku being at the center of my practice, when I discovered Naka Akira's semenawa I decided to dedicate myself to it.
Thanks to an assiduous practice with my partners I managed to 1ind a way towards my own style.
The challenge for me is ambitious: to reclaim the values and aesthetics of my predecessors while bringing my own singularities.
To synthetize my vision of kinbaku I would highlight these following issues and desires: "Revisiting the roots of kinbaku, always searching to deepen the intimate and emotional dimension, while integrating and developing more contemporary techniques on security and anatomy."
Today my kinbaku is constantly evolving but always centered on my desire to better perceive and understand others.
Since 2018, I am in charge of Atelier Simonet in Paris, recognized in 2019 as an of1icial Naka style studio by Naka Akira.

I discovered ropes in september 2023. My rope relationship help me realize the impact of rope's manipulation, body placement, contrasts in tying as ways to make it a dialogue between rigger and model. This silent and yet very clear new way of communication has been fascinating me ever since for the emotions I've been living through. I value a lot emotional and psychological security. I’m also tying which is helping me to understand things from a different perspective.
