Le saxophoniste Phillip Dornbusch et le tromboniste Gaspard Moglia se sont rencontrés durant leur études à New York où ils poursuivent aujourd’hui leur parcours artistique. Leur rencontre a donné naissance à une collaboration musicale aussi naturelle que passionnée. Ensemble, ils ont fondé un quartet aux couleurs singulières, où se mêlent l’énergie du jazz contemporain, l’audace des compositions originales et une recherche mélodique audacieuse. Leur son puise dans l’héritage du jazz moderne tout en explorant des territoires sonores inédits. Pour compléter leur alchimie, ils ont rassemblé autour d’eux des musiciens d’exception : Quinton Cain, batteur basé à Brooklyn, et Josef Zeimetz , contrebassiste parisien. Leur répertoire se nourrit avant tout des compositions originales des deux leaders, et nous plonge dans une expérience immersive, où chaque note résonne comme une histoire à part entière.

Saxophonist Phillip Dornbusch and trombonist Gaspard Moglia met whilst studying in New York, where they are now continuing their artistic careers. Their meeting gave rise to a musical collaboration that is as natural as it is passionate. Together, they have formed a quartet with a distinctive sound, blending the energy of contemporary jazz, the boldness of original compositions and a daring exploration of melody. Their sound draws on the legacy of modern jazz whilst exploring uncharted sonic territory. To complement their chemistry, they have brought together a group of exceptional musicians: Quinton Cain, a Brooklyn-based drummer, and Josef Zeimetz, a Parisian double bassist. Their repertoire is drawn primarily from the two bandleaders’ original compositions, immersing us in an experience where every note resonates like a story in its own right.
