TRIP DETAILS
Start and End Date: Tuesday, 29 September - Saturday, 3 October.
Meeting Time and Location:
- Option A: Meet your guide directly at the accommodation in Valletta from 8 pm onwards on Tuesday.
- Option B: Meet your guide in Valletta by 9 am on Wednesday (exact location to be provided in WhatsApp group for confirmed participants).
- Note:
- Participants can arrive in Valletta at any time on the arrival day. Please inform us of your expected arrival time so that we can coordinate the meeting and transfer arrangements accordingly.
- Accommodation details will be shared in the WhatsApp group for confirmed participants before the trip.
Finishing Time and Location: Valletta / Malta International Airport - Based on your departure time, the guide may also be able to drop you off at the Airport.
Hiking Difficulty: Easy-Intermediate
Expect coastal walking, uneven rocky paths and moderate distances.
A reasonable level of fitness is recommended, but no technical climbing equipment is needed.

WHAT IS THE PLAN?
Day 0 - Arrival & Accommodation Check-In
Arrive in Malta during the day and check in from around 8:00 PM.
Spend the evening meeting the group, settling in and preparing for the adventure.
Day 1 - Valletta & Malta Exploration
Today we spend a full day discovering the historic capital of Malta — Valletta.
Explore the city’s fascinating combination of:
- Historic architecture
- Grand churches
- Mediterranean harbours
- Charming streets
- Beautiful viewpoints
- Maltese and Mediterranean cuisine
Valletta is one of Europe’s most fascinating capital cities, where centuries of history meet a lively Mediterranean atmosphere.
Enjoy a relaxed day exploring, taking photographs, discovering local cafés and experiencing the unique character of Malta.
We spend another night in Valletta.
Day 2 - Ferry to Gozo → Victoria → Salt Pans Hike
After breakfast, we travel by ferry to the island of Gozo.
We check into our accommodation and begin exploring the island.
In the early evening, we enjoy a scenic 7 km Salt Pans Hike.

Day 3 - Xlendi Cliffs & Inland Sea Coastal Adventure
Today is our dramatic coastal adventure day.
We begin with a boat experience through the natural sea tunnel connecting the Mediterranean Sea with the Inland Sea.
Afterwards, we continue on foot along the spectacular coastline towards Xlendi.
Along the way, discover:
- Towering limestone cliffs
- Expansive Mediterranean sea views
- The famous Blue Hole
- Fungus Rock
- Rugged coastal landscapes
- Incredible photography opportunities
The landscape is wild, dramatic and breathtaking — one of the most memorable experiences of the entire journey.
Return to Victoria for dinner and a relaxed final evening on Gozo.
Day 4 - Return to Valletta & Fly Home
After breakfast, we take the morning ferry back to Malta.
We return towards Valletta and continue to Malta International Airport according to individual flight departure times.
Before leaving, enjoy a final:
