Une jam session hors normes, où le jazz s’empare de l’univers légendaire de David Bowie ! Le génie caméléon du rock, de la pop et de l’expérimentation est ici réinventé à travers l’improvisation et la liberté du jazz. Aux commandes de cette soirée exceptionnelle : le pianiste Clément Simon, accompagné d’un trio complice et inspiré avec Marion Ruault à la contrebasse et Philippe Maniez à la batterie. Au programme : un premier set de reprises réarrangées des plus grandes chansons de Bowie – de Life on Mars? à Space Oddity, en passant par Heroes et Let’s Dance – revisitées avec audace, élégance et groove. Puis place à la jam session ouverte à tous les musiciens qui souhaitent venir explorer, improviser et faire vibrer l’esprit libre de Bowie, entre rock, jazz, funk et électro.

A jam session, where jazz takes over the legendary universe of David Bowie. The chameleon genius of rock, pop and experimentation is here reinvented through improvisation and the freedom of jazz. At the helm of this exceptional evening: pianist Clément Simon, accompanied by a trio accomplice and inspired with Marion Ruault on bass and Philippe Maniez on drums. On the program: a first set of re-arranged covers of Bowie's biggest songs – from Life on Mars? to Space Oddity, via Heroes and Let’s Dance – revisited boldly, elegantly and groove. Then place at the jam session open to all musicians who wish to come and explore, improvise and vibrate the free mind of Bowie, between rock, jazz, funk and electro.
