François Constantin prend les commandes d’une jam session spéciale Jazz Caraïbes, avec un premier set qui promet d’être à la fois intense et chaleureux. Sur scène, il s’entoure de Ralph Lavital à la guitare, dont le jeu mêle élégance jazz et couleurs créoles, Michel Alibo à la basse, figure incontournable de la scène antillaise et fusion, et Arnaud Dolmen à la batterie, figure montante du jazz dont le jeu s’inspire des traditions du Gwoka tout en explorant les horizons du jazz contemporain. Ensemble, ils forment un quartet qui réinvente les musiques caribéennes à travers le prisme du jazz, mêlant la puissance des rythmes traditionnels à la liberté de l’improvisation. Cette rencontre musicale s’inscrit dans la lignée d’artistes majeurs qui ont su créer un pont entre héritage et innovation, comme Jacques Schwarz-Bart ou Andy Narell, ou encore Mario Canonge, fidèle artiste et ami cher au club, en résidence au Baser Salé depuis 19 ans ! Après cette première heure de concert, la scène s’ouvre à tous les musiciens présents, prêts à partager un moment de création collective et spontanée. Get ready for an evening where Caribbean rhythms meet jazz in all its modernity. François Constantin takes the helm of a special Caribbean jazz jam session, with a first set that promises to be both intense and warm. On stage, he is joined by Ralph Lavital on guitar, whose playing blends jazz elegance and Creole colors, Michel Alibo on bass, a key figure on the West Indian and fusion scene, and Arnaud Dolmen on drums, a rising figure on the jazz scene whose playing is inspired by Gwoka traditions while exploring the horizons of contemporary jazz. Together, they form a quartet that reinvents Caribbean music through the prism of jazz, blending the power of traditional rhythms with the freedom of improvisation. This musical encounter follows in the footsteps of major artists who have created a bridge between heritage and innovation, such as Jacques Schwarz-Bart or Andy Narell, or Mario Canonge, a faithful artist and dear friend of the club, in residence at Baser Salé for 19 years!
