For the third edition of EN MARGE, join us for two days of poetry, music, and nature, brought together under the theme "Tree, Water, Stone."
This year's programme is dedicated to the work of Italian artist and poet Giuseppe Penone, whose writings are interwoven with the extraordinary musical scores he created from the resonances of fourteen different tree species. Born from the hidden vibrations of living wood, these sound works enter into dialogue with music by Belgian composer, cellist, and poet Jean-Paul Dessy, alongside performances by pianist Vsevolod Zavidov and improvised creations by Kolia Chabanier.
The festival opens with an introduction to the vision behind EN MARGE and a conversation exploring Penone's artistic practice, followed by an evening recital set in the unique surroundings of the Saillant Botanical and Sculpture Park.
More than a festival, EN MARGE is an invitation to experience the meeting point of poetry, music, and contemporary creation. It brings together artists, publishers, and audiences in an atmosphere of curiosity, exchange, and shared discovery, offering an open and welcoming space for all.
