About
On the occasion of the inaugural International Taijiquan Day, officially designated as March 21 annually, the event “Fit for Life, Go for Taiji” will be held in Room II at the UNESCO House.
 
Hosted by the General Administration of Sport of China, the Permanent Delegation of China to UNESCO, and the International Wushu Federation, and co-organized by the Wushu Administrative Center of China, the Chinese Wushu Association, and the Fédération Française des Arts Énergétiques et Martiaux Chinois, this event highlights the far-reaching benefits of Taijiquan for the world.
 
It will feature wonderful demonstrations by outstanding wushu practioners from China and France, showcasing the elegance, harmony and profound cultural charm of Taijiquan. Through professional performances and guided practice sessions, the event promotes cross-cultural exchange and encourages people of all ages to embrace health, peace and vitality through Taijiquan.
