Need a break from Toulouse?
Come join AEGEE Toulouse for a scenic hike in Foix, with a route leading up to Croix Saint-Sauveur and beautiful views over the area.
This is a great option for international students and PhD students who want a day in nature, a bit of physical activity, and a chance to discover more of the region without needing a car.
At AEGEE Toulouse, our hikes and day trips are designed to be social, flexible, and accessible. We share practical tips in advance and leave space for everyone to enjoy the day at their own pace. Once on the route, students will coordinate naturally on the spot depending on energy levels and walking rhythm.
Please note that over the summer we have fewer volunteers available, so while we will provide a practical info sheet with the key details you need, bookings and the organisation of the outing remain the responsibility of each participant.
The trip is reachable by metro, TER, and then on foot from Foix, so it is a simple train-based outing from Toulouse.
Please bring good walking shoes, water, snacks or a packed lunch, sun protection, and anything else you need for a full day outdoors.

Membership: Our events are reserved for members of the association. Becoming a member is free and open to anyone who shares our values. Send us a DM on Instagram to ask for the form link if you'd like to join the community!
Cancellations: Each ticket is personal and cannot be transferred. The only way to cancel your ticket is through the link in your confirmation email.
For free events, we have a strict no-show policy: if you register and do not attend without canceling at least six hours in advance, you will be unable to join association events for two weeks. We do this to keep things fair for the whole community, so everyone gets a chance to participate. Thanks for understanding.
