Uplifting music from the 12th and 21st centuries: Penelope Turner sings chants by Hildegard Von Bingen together with some of her own compositions from her ongoing Hildegard Revisited project (see www.soundcloud.com/projecthildegard).

This concert completes a series of four "Singing Hildegard" workshops given by Penelope, dedicated to singing Hildegard's music from the original 12th century notation. Penelope will be joined on stage for some of the chants by her workshop attendees, and the audience will receive a short introduction to the notation before the concert begins.
