Floraison naît d’un désir : faire entendre un jazz traversé par les mémoires caribéennes, porté par le rythme, les pulsations organiques, le corps et la liberté de l’improvisation. 

Autour de Béatrice Civaton, quatre musiciens avec qui elle explore et donne vie à un répertoire de compositions originales où les rythmes circulent librement entre les esthétiques, les couleurs afro-atlantiques et le langage jazz dialoguent avec liberté. La voix y trouve naturellement sa place, tantôt mélodie, tantôt souffle, tantôt pulsation. 

Béatrice Civaton poursuit alors le chemin ouvert avec Racines Sonores. On y retrouve les questions de mémoire et de transmission qui traversent son travail, mais avec une énergie plus collective, portée par le jeu, le mouvement et la rencontre. 

Lancé en 2012, le rendez-vous régulier #JazzDeDemain donne carte blanche à de jeunes musiciens pour explorer, créer et partager leur univers sur scène. Un créneau prometteur et porteur où la créativité et l’émulsion n’ont pas de limite.

Floraison stems from a desire: to bring to life a form of jazz imbued with Caribbean memories, driven by rhythm, organic beats, the body and the freedom of improvisation.

Alongside Béatrice Civaton, four musicians with whom she explores and brings to life a repertoire of original compositions where rhythms flow freely between aesthetics, and Afro-Atlantic colours and the language of jazz engage in a free dialogue. The voice finds its natural place within this, at times a melody, at times a breath, at times a pulse.

Béatrice Civaton thus continues along the path opened up with Racines Sonores. Here we find the themes of memory and transmission that run through her work, but with a more collective energy, driven by performance, movement and encounter.

Launched in 2012, the regular #JazzDeDemain event gives young musicians carte blanche to explore, create and share their world on stage. A promising and vibrant space where creativity and excitement know no bounds.
