En quête de « leur son », Arlet Feuillard et le Syntest Quintet développent une musique où l’écriture, l’improvisation et la recherche collective se répondent en permanence. Inspiré par des artistes comme Kurt Rosenwinkel et Aaron Parks, le groupe nourrit également son univers d’influences venues d’ailleurs, des musiques africaines au rock, qui irriguent ses compositions et ses arrangements. Un dialogue fluide entre les instruments, où chaque musicien prend part à la construction d’un langage commun. De cette écoute naît une musique à la fois dynamique, introspective et audacieuse.
Après une première année de résidence riche en découvertes, Arlet Feuillard et le Syntest Quintet retrouvent le Baiser Salé pour prolonger cette aventure, devenue un véritable laboratoire où prennent forme, au fil des concerts, de nouvelles compositions, de nouveaux arrangements et pistes musicales.
Créé en 2012, le créneau #JazzDeDemain a donné naissance à une série de résidences bimestrielles permettant à des jeunes artistes d’expérimenter la scène, de rôder un répertoire, tout en le présentant au public. Un créneau prometteur et porteur où la créativité et l’émulsion n’ont pas de limite. #SoyezCurieux !

In their quest to find ‘their sound’, Arlet Feuillard and the Syntest Quintet create music in which composition, improvisation and collective exploration are in constant dialogue. Inspired by artists such as Kurt Rosenwinkel and Aaron Parks, the group also draws on influences from further afield – ranging from African music to rock – which inform their compositions and arrangements. A fluid dialogue between the instruments, in which each musician plays a part in building a shared language. From this interplay emerges music that is at once dynamic, introspective and daring.
Following a first year of residency rich in discoveries, Arlet Feuillard and the Syntest Quintet return to the ‘ Baiser Salé ’ to continue this adventure, which has become a veritable laboratory where, concert by concert, new compositions, arrangements and musical directions take shape.
Launched in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain programme has given rise to a series of bimonthly residencies enabling young artists to gain stage experience, refine a repertoire and present it to the public. A promising and dynamic programme where creativity and inspiration know no bounds. #BeCurious!
