Afro-Caribéen. Jazz. Identités. Rencontre. Sounds of… réunit Lauriane Ludosky, Sylvain Le Ray, Ralph Lavital et Sonny Troupé autour d’une exploration des musiques caribéennes, africaines et du jazz contemporain. Une recherche vivante, intuitive, nourrie par l’improvisation, la mémoire des rythmes et l’écoute collective. Au fil des résidences, le trio invite des artistes venus d’horizons variés, chacun porteur d’un « son et une identité ». Voix, timbres, rythmes, parcours : chaque invité arrive avec ce qui le constitue profondément. Ces échanges donnent naissance à un répertoire original, mouvant, traversé par les histoires, les énergies et les langages de chacun. Ici, le son est bien plus qu’un style ou une couleur : c’est une manière d’habiter la musique, de dire qui l’on est, d’où l’on vient, et vers quoi l’on tend. Sounds of… est un espace de création libre où les identités s’expriment et se transforment à travers le dialogue musical. Pas de frontières, pas de formats figés. Juste une envie commune de faire vibrer les racines, les chemins et les voix. Ensemble.

Afro-Caribbean. Jazz. Identity. Encounters. Sounds of... brings together Lauriane Ludosky, Sylvain Le Ray, Ralph Lavital and Sonny Troupé to explore Caribbean and African music and contemporary jazz. It's a lively, intuitive search, nourished by improvisation, the memory of rhythms and collective listening. Over the course of its residencies, the trio invites artists from a wide range of backgrounds, each with their own 'sound and identity'. Voices, timbres, rhythms, backgrounds: each guest brings with him or her what makes them who they are. These exchanges give birth to an original, ever-changing repertoire that is permeated by the stories, energies and languages of each individual. Here, sound is much more than a style or a colour: it's a way of inhabiting music, of saying who you are, where you come from, and where you're heading. Sounds of... is a free creative space where identities are expressed and transformed through musical dialogue. No borders, no fixed formats. Just a shared desire to make roots, paths and voices vibrate. We're in this together.
