Guitariste originaire de la Nouvelle-Orléans, Jimmy Robinson affiche plus de 50 ans de scène et d’enregistrements au compteur : une expérience immense qui s’entend dans chaque note, avec un jeu profond, précis et sans artifice. À ses côtés, Layla Musselwhite, fille du légendaire Charlie Musselwhite, apporte sa touche personnelle avec une guitare slide expressive, une voix habitée et un vrai sens de l’écriture, nourri par leurs deux albums de compositions originales.

Ensemble, ils forment un duo complice qui va droit au but : ça joue, ça chante, ça se répond avec naturel et intensité. Entre héritage, feeling et spontanéité, leur blues ne cherche pas à en faire trop. Il touche juste, et c’est exactement ce qu’on aime.

New Orleans-born guitarist Jimmy Robinson has over 50 years of stage and recording experience under his belt: a wealth of experience that can be heard in every note, with his deep, precise, no-nonsense playing. Alongside him, Layla Musselwhite, daughter of the legendary Charlie Musselwhite, adds her own personal touch, with an expressive slide guitar, a deep voice and a real sense of songwriting, nurtured by their two albums of original compositions.

Together, they form a duo that gets straight to the point, playing, singing and responding to each other with natural intensity. With their heritage, feeling and spontaneity, their blues doesn't try to do too much. It just hits the spot, and that's exactly what we like.
