This is London’s greatest and most sensational Rhythm’n’Blues-Punk band. And this is a band that truly represents London, being a mongrel mix of Caribbean, France, Japan and Spain. With a repertoire influenced by many of the great songs of the ’50s and ’60s made to sound fresh and new to modern ears, you won’t be able to help but move your feet when the Cumberland Three are blasting out of your speakers. The King howls like Screaming Jay Hawkins with Bo Diddley chasing his coat-tail whilst Andre Williams tries to offer up some of his bacon fat, and the Trashmen do the Surfin' Bird behind him.
This is a man that never stops shakin’ and twistin’ and groovin’.
The Cumberland Three (former members of punk rock bands, including The Parkinsons) rock up a storm with their own branded mix of vintage rockabilly, desperate rock’n’roll and stomping soul, with fire, energy, gusto and, above all, fun! Their numerous vinyl singles and their two albums have sold like the proverbial hot cakes
and they keep releasing new records all the time. This is an old
fashioned singles band, one that puts out one seven inch after
another, all designed, and guaranteed, to get you dancing like a
madman – and both sides of their new long playing platter are sure
to do the same, with one hit record coming one after another.
The band has played pretty much everywhere in Europe, plus
Australia, the USA, Japan, China (everywhere from big cities to
rural villages), Turkey and the Middle East, and have shared a stage with the likes of the Standells, Pretty Things, Trashmen, and the Mummies, to name a few. Indeed, so well regarded are they by the titans of rock’n’roll and rhythm’n’blues that they have a record coming out soon on which they share the grooves with the legendary Andre Williams! Whether on stage or on record this is one of the most exciting bands in rock’n’roll right now – they are guys who know what it takes to make you move. Equal parts rock'n 'roll and soul, with a healthy dose of blues and rockabilly and a good bit of punk rock attitude, whether you’re at a club show or in your living room you won’t be able to help yourself from shakin' and shimmyin'. You can bet your bacon that they're gonna be cookin’ up a party at your house too!
You might have seen them recently starring on BBC’s TV series “UK’S BEST PART-TIME BAND” (presented by Rhod Gilbert), and they also have 2 songs in the soundtrack of the 2016 Hollywood movie “Death Race 2050” (remake of Death Race 2000) produced by the legendary Roger Corman!
Their awaited 3rd album “Goin’ Back To Wurstville”is out the 3rd of March 2017 on Dirty Water records (Europe), Off the Hip (Australia) and Disk Union (Japan) !

Human Toys est une collision de pure rock'n'roll et de beats électroniques. Poupée Mecanik (voix, theremine) aime se jouer des archétypes féminin : la subversion est le nom du jeu, l'humour en est la règle.
Le nouveau guitariste, Jon Von, amène l'énergie punk des Rip Offs; le groupe n'a jamais été aussi sauvage !
Dans le même temps, Florian Cité travaille dans son laboratoire secret à parfaire la section rythmique.
La musique du groupe vous invite à naviguer à bord d'un hot rod sur une route dangereuse traversant un paysage esthético-musical oscillant entre la musique garage et les films de sexploitation.
Leurs performances live sont des moments de pure énergie, saturés par un enthousiasme sauvage et sensuel.
Créé en 2006, HUMAN TOYS est à l'origine un duo parisien formé par Poupée Mecanik et Emma Amaretto.
Repéré par Denis Bortek, le groupe a fait la première partie de Jad Wio à Rennes (à L’Ubu).
Après beaucoup de kilomètres sur la route, en Europe, aux Etats-Unis et au Japon, un album, un mini-album et deux EP, Emma a quitté le groupe en bougeant à Marseille, Jon Von (Rip Offs, Jon and the Vons) a rejoint Poupée à la guitare ainsi que Florian Cité (Cité Lumière, Les Cavaliers) et Fred Périph (Péripherique Est, Opération S) dans les coulisses, pour réviser les rythmes électroniques.
Sans compter des contributions surprises comme celle de Tammy Fraser de Nervous Gender qui a rejoint le groupe sur scène à Los Angeles pour jouer du clavier.

Leurs influences vont de The Libertines, The Hives, The Who, Miles Kane, The Clash jusqu’au Beatles, en bref tout le monde s’y retrouve !

Derrière les platines, il enchaîne les vinyles d'un autre âge avec des productions toutes récentes, mélangeant avec insouciance rock'a'billy, exotica, surf, garage 60's, punk 77, cold wave et electro. La musique qu'il aime est sauvage, envoûtante, entêtante et terriblement sexuelle ! Ses sets sauvages l'on amené à fouler de nombreuse scènes de Valence à Zurich en passant par Paris et Shanghai !!!
