Ça groove, ça swingue et ça respire le funk a plein poumons avec la Jam du Lundi de François Constantin consacrée à George Duke, le boss du jazz fusion et du funk des années 70-80, un claviériste et compositeur américain de génie, qui a bossé avec Frank Zappa, Stanley Clarke ou Jean-Luc Ponty. Ses claviers flamboyants, son groove imparable et son mélange jazz-funk-soul font encore danser les oreilles aujourd’hui. Aux côtés de François Constantin aux percussions et au lead, Noé Chantraine au piano, Romain Labaye à la basse et Tiss Rodriguez à la batterie, les thèmes dansent, les solos s’envolent et les rythmes frappent juste. Une heure de concert pour poser le groove, puis la JAM s’emballe et la scène s’ouvre à tous, pros, amateurs, curieux… bref, tout le monde se laisse emporter par l’énergie et le son. His flamboyant keyboards, unstoppable groove and blend of jazz-funk-soul are still making ears dance today. With François Constantin on percussion and lead, Noé Chantraine on piano, Romain Labaye on bass and Tiss Rodriguez on drums, the themes dance, the solos soar and the rhythms hit home. An hour's concert to get the groove going, then the JAM goes wild and the stage opens up to everyone, pros, amateurs, the curious... in short, everyone gets carried away by the energy and the sound.
