Fils d’une famille de musiciens, il a très tôt troqué son piano d’enfant contre des rythmes envoûtants du monde entier – cubains, brésiliens, africains – qu’il marie avec une malice contagieuse et une énergie sans limites.
Sur scène, c’est lui qui donne le ton et pousse les improvisations. Amateurs ou pros, curieux ou passionnés, tous se retrouvent dans son groove, portés par la magie des échanges spontanés. On commencera par une intro Spéciale Latin Jazz : un mélange explosif de jazz sophistiqué et de rythmes latins ! An outstanding percussionist and maestro of musical encounters, he leads the jam with that joyful, collective energy so characteristic of these unique evenings. Born into a family of musicians, he swapped his childhood piano for the spellbinding rhythms of the world – Cuban, Brazilian, African – at a very early age, blending them with infectious mischief and boundless energy.
On stage, he’s the one who sets the tone and drives the improvisations. Whether amateurs or professionals, the curious or the passionate, everyone gets swept up in his groove, carried along by the magic of spontaneous exchanges. We’ll kick off with a ‘Special Latin Jazz’ intro: an explosive blend of sophisticated jazz and Latin rhythms!
