Carl Henri Morisset, Dylan Choisy et Elvin Bironien forment un nouveau trio autour des grands standards du jazz caribéen, qu'ils réinterprètent avec les codes du jazz d'aujourd'hui. Leur approche privilégie la retenue et l'élégance : chaque thème est traité avec précision, laissant à l'improvisation la place de respirer. Carl Henri Morisset, Dylan Choisy and Elvin Bironien have formed a new trio centred on the great classics of Caribbean jazz, which they reinterpret using the conventions of contemporary jazz. Their approach emphasises restraint and elegance: each theme is handled with precision, leaving room for improvisation to breathe. The styles that run through this repertoire – biguine, mazurka and gwoka – are approached with a contemporary sensibility, balancing refined composition with freedom of performance. A legacy carefully preserved, where every note finds its place.
