Nicolas Attié, guitariste de jazz originaire de Guadeloupe, déploie un univers musical à la fois chaleureux et profondément habité. C’est à 20 ans qu’il tombe amoureux du jazz, et très vite, il plonge dans ses mystères : l’harmonie, l’improvisation et la composition auprès de musiciens qui vont affiner son oreille et nourrir sa vision.

Sur scène, en trio avec Yves Torchinsky à la contrebasse et Léo Rodier à la batterie, il propose une musique vivante. Tout est dans l’écoute, le dialogue, la tension qui se crée et se relâche au fil des morceaux. Entre écriture et improvisation, les trois musiciens construisent un véritable récit, sensible et collectif.

Leur premier EP en est le reflet : une musique sincère, habitée, qui s’inscrit dans le jazz d’aujourd’hui tout en gardant un lien fort avec ses racines.

Nicolas Attié is a jazz guitarist from Guadeloupe, whose musical universe is both warm and deeply inhabited. He fell in love with jazz at the age of 20, and was soon immersed in its mysteries: harmony, improvisation and composition with musicians who honed his ear and nurtured his vision.

On stage, in a trio with Yves Torchinsky on double bass and Léo Rodier on drums, his music comes alive. It's all about listening, dialogue and the tension that builds and dissipates over the course of the pieces. Between writing and improvisation, the three musicians build up a real, sensitive and collective narrative.

Their first EP is a reflection of this: sincere, inhabited music that is part of today's jazz, while retaining a strong link with its roots.
