Né à New York en 2011, Walking Towards The Unknown, c’est une invitation à avancer sans trop savoir où l’on va…et à aimer ça. Porté par le batteur Thomas Galliano, le projet laisse de l’espace, beaucoup d’espace : pour improviser, tenter, rater parfois et surtout trouver quelque chose de vrai ensemble. Sa musique circule librement, nourrie d’influences mêlées et d’un goût assumé pour le mouvement et la surprise. Sur scène, rien n’est figé : ça écoute, ça rebondit, ça s’embarque ailleurs sans prévenir, avec Jorge Vistel à la trompette, Pierre de Bethmann au piano, Thomas Bramerie à la contrebasse, et Galliano à la batterie. Une marche vivante, curieuse, toujours en train de se faire.

Led by drummer Thomas Galliano, the project leaves space, lots of space: to improvise, to try, sometimes to fail and above all to find something real together. Their music circulates freely, nourished by a mix of influences and a taste for movement and surprise. On stage, nothing is set in stone: they listen, they bounce around, they take off without warning, with Jorge Vistel on trumpet, Pierre de Bethmann on piano, Thomas Bramerie on double bass, and Galliano on drums. A lively, curious march, always in the making.
