MASTERCLASS (in english) - Lecoq - Colors in the impro - by Diego INGOLD
About
Description :
We will work on changes of state and the creation of characters with primary and secondary colors based on Jacques Lecoq's study of color, but now applied to impro.
All the things we say are lies if we do not imply the body. It's not what you say... it's how you say it. We will work to have the body available to carry out these changes of state; to show the audience the goals and needs of the characters. We know how to say where we are, we know how to say who we are, but we need to show the audience what we really seek and need as characters. How do we say “I love you” at the same time that we show hatred with our bodies to communicate that it is a lie? How do we get angry on stage in a believable way? We can talk about any topic without spending time telling each other what we feel for the rest of the characters, if we solve it physically.

Teacher :
Actor, director, improviser, and visual artist from Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
He has been teaching workshops and training in theatrical improvisation and physical theater tools, Commedia dell'Arte, and object theater for over 15 years.
For the past 7 years, he has participated in improv festivals and coached companies in different countries (Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Costa Rica, the Philippines, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, England, Brussels, Greece, South Africa, Germany, and Spain).
Co-director and member of Escena101, an improvisational theater in Palma de Mallorca, managed by five companies.
He often works solo or on his own projects with companies in the cities he visits, but he is currently part of four companies.
OLVÍDALOTODO (an improv theater company and school of improv and physical theater in Mallorca) with Carito Delgado.
GLOBAL IMPRO (Madrid-based improv company), with Feña Ortalli and Claudia Bernabé.
DAUS (a multidisciplinary improv company in Mallorca), with Aina Zanoguera (music) and Úrsula Urgeles (dance).
And HERMANAS PICOHUESO (Creative Theater and New Languages), with Gala Peire and LLuki Portas.
For a long time, he has been researching tools to bring the visual arts and theater closer to the world of improvisation, attempting to blur the lines between the different artistic disciplines.
