Reservations on : http://www.feministsinthecity.com -- Toxic masculinity you’ve heard of it, but what is it exactly? How did it start? And most importantly, how to we deal with toxic masculinity in a healthy, empathetic and feminist way? In this masterclass, we answer all of these questions and more!Guest speaker: Michael Bejani studied Sociology at Concordia University in Canada, where he specialised in macro problem solving, feminism and the development of a mentally healthier society. At the same time, Michael was in 1-on-1 therapy, working on getting himself healthier and overcoming his own toxic masculinity and harmful behaviors. He has worked at schools, helping children with their mental health and coping skills (focusing on masculinity) and in February 2019, he started the Instagram account @fighttoxicmasculinity which he uses to educate and help all men lead healthier, more vulnerable, empathetic and freer lives away from toxic masculinity. The conference will be followed by a Q&A session in a friendly, international atmosphere. The meetings will take place thanks to the free tool ZOOM.
