The practice of mending has existed for as long as we’ve been creating and wearing clothing. As fast fashion, and even faster consumption become the norm, slow down and practice the art of repair while building a sustainable community. This mending circle will be hosted at Centre Culturel.
Bring your worn-in favorites, and bring them back to life. You'll learn basic hand-mending and repair techniques. All skill levels welcome, even first time sewers. Just bring the clothes that need a little love. Repair tools and guidance will be provided. We can't wait to see you there!
