After more than three years of writing, performing, questioning, rebuilding and slowly bringing this project to life, Mona Mio invites you to celebrate the release of Into The Light.

 

What began as something deeply personal slowly found its way outward through live shows, late-night sessions, doubt, persistence and an overwhelming need to turn difficult emotions into something alive. Along the way, the project kept growing little by little through playlists, radio support, articles, live sessions, concerts and, above all, through the people who connected with the music and helped it travel further than expected.

 

 

This evening is more than a release party.
It is the celebration of a mountain crossed.
A moment to breathe after years spent building something fragile by hand, piece by piece. A night to celebrate not only the music itself, but everything surrounding it: the people met on the road, the exhaustion, the resilience, the risks taken, the grief transformed into movement, and the strange beauty of finally seeing light appear after carrying something for so long.

 

Blending soul, pop, rock, jazz and gospel textures, Mona Mio’s universe constantly moves between shadow and light. Through a voice both broken and powerful, her songs explore anxiety, emotional overload, neurodivergence, grief, addiction, self-destruction and healing — wrapped in luminous grooves, layered harmonies and raw intimacy.

 

Into The Light captures that suspended moment where we stop running from ourselves long enough to finally move forward.

 

For this special night, Mona Mio will perform with a full band formation and an expanded live setup created especially for the occasion.

Later in the evening, the concert will open into a groove jam session — a continuation of the spirit in which this project was built: collective, alive, imperfect and human.

Soul, funk, jazz, RnB, improvisation and late-night musical encounters.

 

A few simple things to keep the atmosphere alive:

• listen to each other
• kindness and respect first
• be mindful of volume levels
• no plugging/unplugging gear during songs
• no technical changes without the sound engineer’s approval
• leave space for others
• groove above ego

 

This event follows the values of the Plan Sacha charter.

 

Respect, care and consent are essential throughout the night — only yes means yes.

Entrance — free contribution (minimum 5€)*

• 20€ — supporting the project and those who cannot afford it
• 25€ — super fan contribution
