We’re delighted to welcome Naïssam Jalal for a solo concert! 

A French-Syrian flutist with over fifteen years on stage and ten albums to her name, she has performed at leading venues across Europe. In Belgium, she has performed at Flagey, the Brosella Festival, the Gaume Jazz Festival, Ha Concerts, and De Bijloke. 

 

Landscapes of Eternity, her new album, to be released on 31 March, pays tribute to Hindustani classical music. Drawing on jazz, classical Arabic, Hindustani, and Mandinka traditions, she crafts a deeply moving sound. 

 

Naïssam Jalal won a Victoire du Jazz in 2019 and has earned wide critical acclaim. In 2023, her album Healing Rituals was named one of the year’s Top 10 jazz albums by The Guardian.

 

She also has been spotlighted by Telerama, Le Monde, France Musique, Libération, Le Soir, La Repubblica and many more.
