Tout commence par une voix franche, sans artifices. Celle de Lucie Guillem, chanteuse à l'origine du projet Nubë. C'est au Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood qu'elle rencontre le guitariste Maxime Boyer et le batteur Léo Tochon. En 2021, partageant formation jazz, influences pop-folk et complicité du jeu en trio, ils imaginent ensemble cet univers aérien : Nubë,"nuage" en espagnol.

"Songs for Ananim" est paru en juin 2023. Le premier album du groupe retrace un voyage en sept
étapes, dont six compositions. La voix de Lucie Guillem emprunte aussi bien à l'anglais qu'à 
l'espagnol, et nous plonge dans son intimité : il y est question d'amour, d'angoisses du quotidien, de questions sans réponses... Au service des textes, un son de groupe oscille entre atmosphère
planante, enrichie des chœurs des musiciens que l'on découvre aussi chanteurs, et rythmes effrénés, sans jamais choisir son camp. Une musique inventive qui laisse une grande place à l'improvisation. Tel un nuage en constante transformation...

It all starts with a straightforward, unadorned voice. Lucie Guillem, the singer behind the Nubë project. It was at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood that she met guitarist Maxime Boyer and drummer Léo Tochon. In 2021, sharing their jazz training, pop-folk influences and the complicity of playing in a trio, they imagined this ethereal universe together: Nubë, "cloud" in Spanish.

"Songs for Ananim" was released in June 2023. The group's first album retraces a journey in seven stages
including six compositions. Lucie Guillem's voice borrows from both English and Spanish, taking us on a journey of discovery.
It's about love, everyday anxieties and unanswered questions... The lyrics are served by a group sound that oscillates between a soaring atmosphere
enriched by the backing vocals of the musicians, who are also singers, and frenetic rhythms, without ever choosing sides. Inventive music that leaves plenty of room for improvisation. Like a cloud in constant transformation...
