“I find it difficult to hold the audience’s attention when I speak.”
“As an introvert, I find it difficult to be charismatic.”
“I didn’t get the promotion I wanted because they didn’t hear a leader's voice.”
In a two-part interactive workshop, we will explore the main ingredients of presence and charisma: your posture, your expressions, your confidence.
Starting with how your body behaves, we will explore in our group and in front of the group, what the components of being “in the spotlight” are, and how to play with these, even when you don’t know what you’re going to say next.
We will then explore your voice: what it says about you, what are its characteristics, and how to use your voice so people will listen to you in the way you want them to.
You can expect some surprises along the way!
For this half-day workshop, you’ll be lucky to have two complementary trainers: Sandra Lizioli and Alexis Brouard.
When people ask Sandra, 'What do you do?' she replies, 'I empower leaders to speak with impact.’ Sandra is passionate about public speaking and the theatre. She describes it as her Tale of Two Stages. She has been combining both worlds for the last 15 years, she helps speakers ‘perform’ with their voice by understanding how it works in order for them to produce good voice production and communicate with authority and influence.
Alexis is a pure blend of art and science: Computer Science & IT engineer, presentation skills and interpersonal communication trainer and coach, magician, corporate speaker, master of ceremonies, and improv theater comedian.
For the past 15 years, the common denominator of Alexis’ works has been about communication: from ‘one to many’ to ‘one on one’. As such, he has put rules and principles about communication, storytelling, psychology or neuroscience into practice to help people speak up and be heard.
