This unique event brings together professionals and researchers with a shared interest in the public management of reclaimed building elements.     Over two intensive days, participants will explore the field of public reuse centres through plenary sessions, roundtable discussions, site visits, and thematic workshops. The symposium offers a rare opportunity to exchange knowledge between academia and practice, particularly for public officials and experts in construction materials salvage.    Day 1 at Lamot Congress & Heritage Centre in Mechelen will feature plenary lectures on theoretical frameworks, followed by roundtables exploring specific projects and commonly reclaimed materials. This symposium is organized by Rotor asbl as part of the Interreg NWE PREUSE project, bringing together nine partners across Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. It was made possible with the support of Bellastock, Bruxelles Environnement - Brussel Leefmilieu, National Centre for Continuing Vocational Training of Luxemburg, RENOLUTION, City of Mechelen and Valdelia.
