The symposium offers a rare opportunity to exchange knowledge between academia and practice, particularly for public officials and experts in construction materials salvage. Day 1 at Lamot Congress & Heritage Centre in Mechelen will feature plenary lectures on theoretical frameworks, followed by roundtables exploring specific projects and commonly reclaimed materials. This symposium is organized by Rotor asbl as part of the Interreg NWE PREUSE project, bringing together nine partners across Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
