Yesterday , Monday February 6th southern Turkey and neighbouring Syria faced an earthquake of estimated 7.8 magnitude, one of the strongest in a century, with devastating aftershocks completely flattening entire neighbourhoods. 

The death toll is estimated at 16, 000 in Turkey and Syria and many displaced families are in extremely vulnerable conditions due to shock and freezing temperatures.Ongoing rescue efforts are rushing against time, hoping to rescue as many people as possible from the rubbles.

 

As Yogis and Sikhs, it is our Dharmic duty to render assistance to those in most need of our help. Help us bring aid to the people affected by these horrific earthquakes.
