The artist :
A leading figure of the new generation, Vsevolod Zavidov stands out for an interpretative maturity far beyond his years. Trained from early childhood at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, he appeared on major stages at a remarkably young age, from the Conservatory’s Great Hall to Carnegie Hall. A laureate of several major international competitions, he is recognised for readings of the repertoire that combine sonic depth, stylistic precision and a strong narrative sense. Now based in Geneva, he continues his studies with Nelson Goerner, further shaping an artistic path that is already distinctly his own.
The place :
Just steps from Parc Monceau, the Bibliothèque musicale La Grange-Fleuret ranks among the most precious institutions in Paris’s musical landscape. Founded on the archives assembled by Henry-Louis de La Grange and Maurice Fleuret, it houses a major European collection devoted to the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Set within a nineteenth-century private mansion that has been extensively renovated, the library offers a luminous and elegant setting designed for listening and research. Exceptionally opened for this evening, this discreet venue hosts intimate concerts where every nuance is revealed with clarity and grace.
