Au piano, Mario Canonge s’empare de ces mélodies populaires et leur donne une nouvelle couleur, porté par Annick Tangorra au chant, Thierry Fanfant à la basse, Arnaud Dolmen à la batterie et Bago Balthazar aux percussions. 

Entre arrangements subtils, rythmes caribéens et mélodies familières, le quintet fait dialoguer tradition et liberté musicale. Tantôt festif, tantôt plus intimiste, le Chanté Nwèl est avant tout une histoire de partage et de transmission.
