2022-03-19 20:00:00 2022-03-19 23:55:00 Europe/Paris SAT 19/03 : Glü Wür - Self Tying Performance Reservations on : https://www.billetweb.fr/sat-19-03-glu-wur-self-tying-performance -- According to the law that went into effect on August 9, 2021, the sanitary pass is required to participate in Atelier Simonet events.Atelier Simonet is located near the Ivry sur Seine station of the RER C (4min) and the Mairie d'Ivry stop of the line 7 (9min) Workshop participants are invited to Glü Wür's performance !​​​​​​​  Performance :For Glü Wür, self tie is not only a matter of technique.It is an authentic medium to express her art and her emotions.  It is a real ritual for her that we will have the chance to attend.The performance will be followed by a friendly rope jam to finish this evening together.  Doors open: 7:45-8:00 pmStart of the performance: 8:30 pmDoors will be closed during the performance. They will open again for the jam!In order to guarantee a certain comfort, these evenings are limited in number of participants.No one under 18 years old is allowed to attend. Glü Wür : Glü Wür is a chilean artist and performer based in Barcelona. She started her approach to arts by studying theatre and oil painting at school, where she could learn differen ways of artistic expression. At university, sculpt, goldsmith and gemology were her new challenges.Besides she trained trapeze and aerial hoop in circus shows. Working with her body and mind and connecting with other people through art and acrobatics leads her to shibari(japanes bondage) and she started to bond with people through rope all over the world.She is experimenting with self-suspension and combining shibari with contemporary circus elements, to create her own unique style of perfomances. Taking classes from different teachers allows her to constantly weaving new possibilities and combining things. Her desire to learn and share ropes with other people makes her constantly seeking new possibilities and different teachers. Exploring the relationship between the limits of the body and the endless possibilities of the mind. In her performances she shows the scenic inquiry between identity and it’s absence. The requirement for physical diversity. A criticism of the beauty templates that our society creates. Through self-tying and self-torturing Glü Wür claims for freedom and diversity.In London, NewYork, Berlin, San Francisco, France, Athens , Santiago de Chile and many Spanish cities you could see her on stage, using ropes to sculp her body as if he was made from mud.
