Stuck in a songwriting rut? Let’s turn that wall into your next breakthrough.

We've got something special brewing for you. A hands-on songwriting workshop led by American songwriter Madelinksi (Maddie Corley), and she's here to shake up your creative process. She is meant to offer some techniques to break you out of a slump and provide some ideas to elevate and explore your songwriting. Beginning with an initial introduction and analysis, Maddie will split you into groups and give you one hour to create a song based on a provided prompt, including words, idioms, point of view, and more. Afterwards, you’ll come together to reflect on your experiences and consider how you can apply these ideas in your own practice.

Come excited and ready to explore together! This workshop is aimed at artists who already write songs, but that's not a strict requirement - just come with an open mind and a willingness to explore together!

Of course, no La Müse festival would be complete without a Hidden Room Concert! We've invited the incredible duo Float on the Road — fresh off their first EP and album, Tim Wuyts and Dries De Maeyer are embracing a simpler way forward. Less planning, more playing! Their sets blend original folk songs with old-time beauties and grooves that weave flute and guitar together. Anyone familiar with Float's music projects knows their next one is sure to be electrifying!
