Ciné-débat : Rumba congolaise, les héroïnes, de Yamina Benguigui.
Projection suivie d’un échange autour de la rumba congolaise, patrimoine culturel immatériel inscrit par l’UNESCO et les récits de terrain.
Résumé du film : La Rumba congolaise, genre musical emblématique des deux Congo reconnu par l'UNESCO en 2021, a longtemps été présentée comme une création essentiellement masculine. Cette perception occulte cependant la contribution cruciale des femmes artistes qui, malgré leur talent et leur créativité, sont restées dans l'ombre de leurs homologues masculins. Le film documentaire s'attache à rendre hommage à ces héroïnes "invisibilisées" et vise à rééquilibrer la mémoire collective de ce patrimoine musical mondial en mettant en lumière leur rôle essentiel dans le développement de la rumba.

Le frais récoltés dans le cadre de cet événement contribuera à soutenir le projet de finalisation de la médiathèque MutuBuku Émilie Flore Faignond à N’djili.
Cette action vise à renforcer la coopération culturelle et le lien de jumelage entre Savigny-le-Temple et la commune de N'djili.
