FACILITATORS TRAINING SESSION (Online)
DURATION : 6 hours (+ 1 hour)
PREREQUISITE : Future facilitators must have previously attended a Space Fresco workshop session.
OBJECTIVE :
Become an autonomous, certified facilitator of the Space Fresco workshop, enabling you to deploy the session internally within your organization and accelerate the understanding of global and near-space challenges related to human space activities.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN :
This intensive training provides all the knowledge, practices, and resources required to confidently run the Space Fresco workshop in an online environment.
- Deep Dive into the Fresco: Gain an in-depth understanding of the Space Fresco's 40 cards, and practice explaining the complex cause-and-effect relationships that connect various environmental issues of Space Activities.
- Master the Methodology: Learn to guide a group through the entire process, including:
- Setting the tone and leading the introduction and roundtable.
- Maintaining the pace of the workshop and leading the head-heart-legs dynamics (cognitive, emotional, and action phases).
- Knowing how to structure and lead the final discussion phase to ensure participants identify their first steps and commit to action.
- Facilitation Skills: Review best practices, good practices for handling different participant profiles and techniques for managing group cohesion and ensuring full engagement of each partcipant.
- Facilitator Resources: Receive a presentation of the current and future tools, full access to guides, platforms, and resources, including a physical card deck.
POST TRAINING PATH (Mandatory Steps to Certification):
- First Facilitation: Conduct your first Space Fresco session (co-facilitation is strongly recommended).
- Then Lessons Learned Session: Participate in a 1hour Debrief Session with a trainer and other facilitators to discuss learnings, difficulties, and good practices. (included in Training Price)
FORMAT Details
- Conducted online via video setup (Teams or Google Meet) and online Facilitation tool (Mural)
- Small group learning with 1 trainer for 4–10 future facilitators.
- Requires a minimum of 15 minutes extra preparation time for setting up the digital tools.
