Swell for newcomers: we start with 45 minutes of guided improvisation led by a professional dancer — a playful way to step into dance without fear or pressure. Then comes one hour of DJ set, where movement is completely free. All barefoot, without alcohol, and without words: nothing stands in the way of the joy of dancing together. No need to ‘know how to dance’ — there’s no technique or choreography required. Swell is open to everyone, regardless of age or physical condition. It’s the joy of dancing together, without waiting until 2 AM or the next festival.
 

Théo Samsworth (UK/IRELAND) is a contemporary dance artist and performer who has worked for the last decade as a freelancer and company dancer all over Europe. Theo has a strong love of improvisation and his practice is based on finding organic flow of movement by exploring and utilising the articulation and freedom of the pelvis and spine, thus reaching a state of full body engagement. Through this research he aims to find a place of cathartic joy and release. He has performed globally, taught workshops in multiple countries, and is also a certified yoga teacher.

BENGALÁ, Beatmaker, DJ et fondatrice du label récréatif High Class Records, elle partage son amour pour la danse à travers les influences percussives qui l’a nourrissent depuis le berceau. Issue d’une famille sud américaine et d’un père percussionniste, elle grandit entre Paris et Buenos Aires et a l’habitude d’embrasser une vaste palette de genres musicaux, mélangeant toutes les influences qui l’ont fait grandir, naviguant ainsi du Reggaeton, au funk brésilien, la Batida, le RKT, le dembow, le Kuduro, la guaracha et bien d’autres encore.
