Brunch & Run: Sunday, May 25

 

Häerz is teaming up with The Day Club and Community Run for a special edition of Brunch & Run—because nothing brings people together like a good run and even better food.

 

Here’s the plan:
9:30am – Meet-up & bag drop (for runners)
9:50am – Warm-up
10:00am – Optional 5k or 10k run
11:15am – Tram back to Schuman
12–4pm – Brunch & Party with DJ set at Schuman

 

Participation is free, but tickets are mandatory.

1.⁠ ⁠What’s the event about?
Running and day partying!
We start in the morning with a 5 or 10k run (running the last kilometers of the ING marathon), then we continue sweating on the dance floor with The Day Club organizing brunch & beats at Schuman from 12 to 16:00.

 

2.⁠ ⁠I’m not part of a running club, can I participate?
Absolutely. You are more than welcome!

 

3.⁠ ⁠I’m not part of one of the listed running clubs, can I participate?
Yes, this is an inclusive event. Everyone is welcome!

 

4.⁠ ⁠I want to join for the running only, is it possible?
Yes. The party is not mandatory. We would be happy to have you with us for the run!

 

5.⁠ ⁠I want to join for the brunch & party only, is it possible?
Yes. If you can’t sweat during the run, come and sweat on the dance floor!

 

6.⁠ ⁠Where are we running?
The 10k run starts in front of the Häerz restaurant and we are going to run the last 8.5km of the ING marathon (1.5k running to catch up the course). 
The 5k start in the same place and goes straight to Luxexpo through the Kirchberg parc. 

 

7.⁠ ⁠Are their going to be different groups with different paces?
Yes. For the 10k: 6:30/km, 6:00/km, 5:30/km and 5:00/km (option to come back running to Häerz for extra 5k for this fast group)
For the 5k, we’ll adopt a pace that suits everyone. We don’t drop anyone. The pace will probably be around 6:30-7:00/km.

 

8.⁠ ⁠Are the spots limited?
For the run, no. More people = more fun!
But for the party, yes. The free entrance tickets are limited and will be online Thursday 15/05/2025 until they’re all gone. 

 

9.⁠ ⁠How does it work with the pre-sales?
Get a free ticket before their gone (online Thursday 15/05/2025) and show up to the party ready to dance. That’s it!
