The topic for this first webinar is : MARVELOUS MYCORRHIZA
"Discover the hidden world of mycorrhizal fungi—the underground partners that connect plants, share resources, and shape ecosystems. This session explores how these networks sustain life beneath our feet and invites reflection on their role in the health of soils and plants."
Information about the setup of the session:
The sessions will take place on Microsoft team with a maximum number of 15 participants. They are meant as introductory lessons with opportunities to dive deeper into the topic by means of questions and discussions. The first 45 minutes of the session will be in a lecture format (with space for questions) and the second part 15-45 minutes will be open for questions and discussion. This sessions are part of the RegenAG Youth project and specifically targeted towards young citizens and professionals, although we welcome interested people of all ages.
This session will be led by Corentin Bisot
About Corentin : he is a researcher specialized in the study of mycorrhizal networks and their role in transporting carbon, water, nitrogen, and phosphorus between soil and plants. In his sessions he share some of the insights from his research in an accessible way for all audiences.
About the ReGen Agro+ Program
ReGen Agro+ is a European project designed to raise awareness about regenerative agriculture among youth.
Led by The Living Soils Workshop, in partnership with Stichting Regeneratie and Ekoboerderij De Lingehof, the project brings together partners in the Netherlands and Belgium.
It includes 12 training and exchange sessions for youth organizations across the three countries, offering a flexible format with light administration, goal-based evaluation, and opportunities for volunteer involvement.
As part of the program, ASV will also develop educational materials grounded in field practices and local challenges.
