As winter draws near and the days grow shorter, what better way to spend the cold season than learning how the food we eat is grown? Join us online for the Soil Session series—a set of introductory webinars exploring the living systems that sustain agriculture and feed us all. Grab a warm drink, wrap up in a blanket, and dive in from the comfort of your home.
The topic for this first webinar is : FARMING WITH TREES
"What role can trees play in growing our food? This session explores how integrating trees into farming systems (Agroforestry) can build soil health and biodiversity, and takes an honest look at both the challenges and opportunities of farming with trees."
Information about the setup of the session:
The sessions will take place on Microsoft team or zoom. They are meant as introductory lessons with opportunities to dive deeper into the topic by means of questions and discussions. The first 45 minutes of the session will be in a lecture format (with space for questions) and the second part 15-45 minutes will be open for questions and discussion. This sessions are part of the RegenAG Youth project and specifically targeted towards young citizens and professionals, although we welcome interested people of all ages.
